Milly Hoddo and Ryan Gibson are a multi instrumental duo. They have been playing together since 2015. Their style is a melodic fusion of folk, blues, funk and jazz. What makes them special is both their unusual instruments and their ability to play them in a way that transcends genres. Instruments include handpans (hang drums), percussion, harp guitar baritone, bass guitar, acoustic and electric guitar.

Clients love the uniqueness of the handpan. During/following events their guests often compliment my performance and are intrigued to know more. Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up currently includes singer/guitar, double bass and handpan. Contact us for more information as we are an ever evolving collective of musicians with handpan always at the heart.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

That is not usually a question we are asked, more one for big bands. But depending on your event this may be possible, just contact us and ask.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We perform in one area and cannot roam, but we can perform in one area and relocate to another if playing mainly acoustically e.g. to play outdoors for part of the event. Contact us for further details.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Most of our songs are originals. Our set lists are crafted from performances and learning what works best at different events. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

No PA or lighting provided but portable amps available included in the quote and are sufficient for most events we play. We can provide PA for an additional fee.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! Adapting pieces to fit on the Hang takes time so there is a fee for this service. Contact me for a quote.

Milly is amazing. I have seen her play many times and never fails to make my jaw drop. It's a joy to hear her play, the music always surprises me, her covers are interesting and her original material beautiful. A show not to be missed.
