Mezzo soprano Milda Fontanetti is a postgraduate Trinity College London Scholar at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance under tuition of Lynton Atkinson and Rianka Bouwmeester, and is also grateful for generous support from Trinity Laban External Courses Fund.Milda’s musical experience began in Lithuania where she studied choral singing at the National School of Arts and piano at Moletai Music School, which inspired a further interest in vocal music and later led to solo performance. Roles in opera excerpts include Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Meg in Falstaff and Selysette in Ariane et Barbe-bleue with Trinity Laban Opera Scenes and Elle in La voix humaine at Blackheath Halls. She recently participated in the Trinity Laban mentor scheme with English National Opera. Milda has performed in masterclasses with Sally Matthews, Sophie Daneman in Oxford Lieder Festival and Sir John Eliot Gardiner in Royal Greenwich International Early Music Festival, and has enjoyed working with Eugene Asti in Schubert Project.
