Mikey Golding

Since I was 7 I've been involved in playing music, first learning to play the guitar with my dad's encouragement. He introduced me to a lot of music which would help to influence my development as an artist, such as the foo fighters, the arctic monkeys, the smiths, James Brown and Sister Sledge. This has helped me become a versatile musician who can perform all forms of music, rather than just limiting myself to one genre. Soul music and big band music is some of my favourite to sing, I feel that it gives me the most scope to express myself and allows me to sing to the best of my abilities. Music is arguably my greatest passion, which encourages me to want to perform as much as possible in any situation.
