Matt Woodman

Matt has been surrounded by music since he was born. His dad and grandad, David Woodman and Peter Woodman respectively, taught him how to play an array of instruments while his mum'said side of the family gave him a passion for singing. He grew up listening to an array of music, ranging from Adele to Biffy Clyro and everywhere in between. His dad introduced him to the likes of Sting, Tears for Fears and Bruce Hornsby while his mum showed him Stevie Wonder, Gregory Porter and Michael Bublè. Over the years he expand his tastes to artists like Fleetwood Mac, Daft Punk, Bastille, The 1975, The Killers, Newton Faulkner, Coldplay and many more. He currently plays in venues of various sizes as a solo act, a duo with his dad, a function band called The Tone Hunters and a songwriting worship team called Woodman Green. He is also able to play as part of a band if they are missing a member.
