Mario Riccitelli

Mario Riccitelli is a London based performer and music teacher. Since 1985 the bassist and founder of the Maz Quintet has been focusing his life on a study path that includes a wide range of techniques and music styles. He attended courses at some of the most important music schools and had the privilege to have private lessons and masterclasses with popular teachers and some of the world greatest musicians and composers as Kenny Wheeler, Gary Willis, Dave Holland, George Garzone, Bob Mintzer, Kurt Rosenwinkel and more. His music studies and experiences to date has seen him touring across the whole Italy and playing all genres as Pop, Rock, Funk, Electronic, Jazz and Latin Jazz, in duos or in bands and from small to bigger stages. Graduated BMus Jazz Performance, Composition studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, member of the ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians) and with more than 25 years of experience, Mario Riccitelli is currently working as a music teacher and performer in all London’s areas.
