I am a composer based in Oxford and have worked on and off in the University for some years, though not as an academic.

Born in London, studied at York University (BA Music and Theatre) and King's College, London (M.Mus Composition). Musical style described as 'the New Lyricism', his works have been performed widely in the UK and abroad, and broadcast on BBC Radio 3, the World Service and BBC TV. Has also composed music for a number of BBC TV programmes. Since moving to Oxford in 2000 he has collaborated with musicians from inside and outside the University including The Arcadian Singers, Christ Church Music Society, the choir of St. Giles' Church, et al. Very interested in further collaboration with local musicians, and in the course of founding a new group, Composers of Oxford, to bring together composers from within and beyond the University, in a non-academic context.
