Just Tom and Pete is the spoilt, drunk, man child of Cambridgeshire friends Tom Copson and Pete Robbins. Their music began in 2009 when they started jovially playing R&B tunes to mates in the pubs they drank in. Perfecting the art of putting their own unique spin on some of the worlds best known songs, they have performed in Australia, USA, Europe and the seas in between. Using only a cajon, a guitar, and their voices, audiences are often shocked at the depth of sound they can find as a pair.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

No, we tend just to perform as a duo, it's such an upbeat show that you should not need any more than two of us.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's fine, we understand that when planning an event things can be a bit up in the air. We will try our very best to be a flexible as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we can and will provide this service for free for around an hour afterwards. If you would like longer, then we can discuss this at extra cost.

How much time do you need to set up?

We don't wanna rush setting up and sound checking, intact we want to make sure we have as much time to soundcheck as possible, the better sound then the better the show and the better you have partying with us. Around 1 hour should be plenty of time.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Nope, although Tom can get a bit restless while performing.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all equipment needed will provided along with some basic lighting. If you want something more flashy (excuse the pun) in the lighting department then we can discuss this and provide at an extra cost. We can fit into most small spaces but a space about 3m x 2m is best and the band will also require 2 x 13amp sockets near the performance area.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, Just Tom & Pete are happy to learn a song, such as a first dance as long as it's within reason and they are given at least 6 weeks notice.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients love a lot about our shows but it's probably how much fun we have with an audience and the fact although there is only two of us we get them dancing like a full on band would.
