Pianist and composer from Perth, Western Australia, currently studying piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London, UK.
I have heard Joseph perform Grand Pianola Music by John Adams, and Fém from Book 2 of Ligeti's 18 Études. He is a fantastic pianist to watch perform, taking care of every single note and always, in my experience, delivering a marvellous performance.James McAulay 21 January 2016
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A BIO, DO NOT USE AS A BIO Well I'm from Australia, which is a really nice place. Specifically, I live in Perth, but was born in Tasmania. I was born in 1994. I'm roughly 6'3'' or so. I stretch an 11th (sometimes a 12th in my right hand if I'm being really stupid). I play a lot of video games. I play a lot of board games. I play a lot of piano. I don't like overcast weather. I enjoy contemporary music. I enjoy Romantic music. I enjoy 20th Century music. I enjoy Baroque music. I don't really enjoy music from the Classical period so much, but I'm young so obviously I don't understand it. My Scrabble high score is 724. I have an almost sexual (not really) obsession with wearing odd socks. I like my socks to be colourful, because the sky usually isn't where I work. I occasionally compose when I have the time, though I strive to do it as much as possible because I can only take so much piano. I enjoy flying. My MBTI is INTP. I don't own an appendix. My favourite colour is teal. I have three siblings - two brothers and a sister. I can't resist clickbait. Star wars 7 WAS good (this means you're wrong if you think otherwise). I don't actually mind liquorice. My favourite musical moment is that bit in Zimmermann's 'Monologues' (you know the bit). My favourite musical moment is that bit in the Rach cello sonata (you know the bit). My favourite musical moment is that bit in Dohnanyi 2nd PC (you know the bit). The dress was white and gold. WHAT is with the exchange rate right now we need to hurry up and mine some more coal/iron ore/gas EDIT: YES BREXIT THANK YOU. My best single innings test score is 1427 (Hilfenhaus with a triple century damn what a guy RIP). I'm half Czech. I support Israel because they have excellent food. I occasionally shuffle cards obsessively. I don't smoke. I'll add more things here as I think of them. Also, I hate biographies. They're always full of crap that I am never interested in reading about a person. I don't care what orchestras you've played with, or what concert halls you've played in. I don't care what incredible masterclasses you participated in or wonderful musician you worked with. Because of this, biographies invariably lead me to dislike musicians too. We're such an obnoxious, egotistical bunch (haha), all obsessed with being ultra-musical and edgy and the next big thing, when, ultimately, we forget to actually live and do other stuff. /deeprant Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, thanks for reading P.S. If you're reading this I'm probably broke, so send me some money on paypal, my email is DAMMIT ENCORE WHY CAN'T I PUT MY EMAIL HERE I NEED MONEY
