TENOR Joseph performs frequently as a soloist and in many choirs and is currently training under the renowned vocal tutor Miriam Bowen. Joining St. David's Church Choir as a young boy treble, (past members include Katherine Jenkins) at the age of just 9, Joseph continues to sing with the choir to this date as a Tenor and has gained the coveted Royal School of Church Music Bronze and Silver Awards. Through his work with the choir, Joseph was honoured to be awarded the position of Area Consultant for the Royal School of Church Music for South East Wales. In 2010, Joseph joined the Welsh choir, 'Only Boys Aloud' and has greatly enjoyed many wonderful experiences with them. These have included; the making of a best-selling album, finalists on ITV's Britain's Got Talent and headlining the Coronation Festival 2013, performing in front of the Queen and the Royal Family in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. In 2014 he gained a place in the prestigious ‘Principality Only Boys Aloud Academy’, a week’s intensive course held in Atlantic College combining choral and movement workshops, general musicianship lessons, an intensive programme of rehearsals and workshops with the Actor Fra Fee (Les Miserables Movie) and choreographer Jonathan Butterell (West End Director). Joseph was honoured in 2015 to be the recipient of Pelenna Male Voice Choir's Bursary Award for Talented Musicians and Neath Port Talbot College's Cultural Scholarship Award and is also delighted to have received an unconditional offer from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama to study as a Tenor. PIANIST & ACCOMPANIST Joseph is in constant demand to work with singers and choirs alike as a vocal tutor, accompanist, and repetiteur and has already got an impressive portfolio of work. As a Jazz pianist, Joseph performs frequently as the lead pianist of the Six Counties Big Band, one of only two of its kind in South Wales. Joseph is not shy of choral accopaniment, accompanying Neath Polyphonic Choir since 2012, associate accompanist of Neath Male Voice Choir and accomapnying nationally renowed soloists including; Angharad Thomas, Angharad Morgan, Richard Allen and Laura Armstrong. Joseph is also no stranger to performing in popular styles as the accompanist of Class Act Musical Theatre School and as for musical theatre performers, classical vocalists and instruments performers in local concerts, ABRSM examinations and for GCSE, AS & A Level Examinations. Joseph was also the lead pianist for Neath Port Talbot College's Funk Band and its Orchestra outside his academic studies; a role which Joseph still reprises on a regular basis. Joseph is a frequent performer on the musical theatre circuit, already gaining an impressive portfolio of Pit Band work. Through this Joseph is a regularly performing in the Brangwyn Hall.
