Baritone, graduate of the University of Manchester. Performer of a diverse repertoire from Opera and Art a Song to Classic Musical Theatre

A BMus graduate of the University of Manchester, Jordan’s stage experience has included chorus in Verdi’s Il Trovatore (Opera Seria) at the Royal Northern College of Music, and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers (Opera Della Luna) at the Lowry Theatre, Salford as well as Mozart’s Le Nozze Di Figaro, and Handel’s Acis and Galatea respectively with the University of Manchester Music Society. Solo concert repertoire has included Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater and a diverse repertoire of art song, including Copland’s Old American Songs (Vol 1) and Butterworth’s Six Songs from A Shropshire Lad. Recently, Jordan has taken part in the North Wales Opera Studio’s Easter course. He will return to Wales in July to take part in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod 2017 with fellow singers from the studio. Future plans are to include the baritone solo in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall in a performance with the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra.
