Jonny Fitch

I'm a musician in Glasgow, a teacher, performer and composer. I most often teach music in secondary schools and to one-to-one pupils across the country and have experience in classroom teaching and woodwind and piano tuition. I am a composer of music for films and advertisements and many of my compositions have been performed by live musicians. I am a performer, most often in trad music scenes, playing for multiple ceilidh bands across Scotland and for this I play piano/keys but also fiddle, guitar, bass guitar and drums. I also have experience in organising these events and will organise musicians for anniversary, wedding and birthday ceilidhs amongst others. I am trained in using PA systems and doing sound checks for musicians and have my own sound system available. I also perform solo on piano for wedding services or receptions or other general events or record music for various online or remote events. I am an experienced choir leader for community choirs and take ensembles and groups in the schools that I teach in from a range of genres: Scottish trad to jazz to Classical and to chamber music.
