I have roughly been playing the cello since I was 5, when I started at primary school, and even though I am only 19, I still have over a decade of playing experience! I have achieved Distinction in every ABRSM exam for the cello, with my grade 8 being completed in 2012. I wanted to continue my studies further, so I applied to music college throughout the Uk, ending up with offer from Trinity Laban in Greenwich, Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and an unconditional scholarship offer to Birmingham Conservatoire. I have been a member of the CBSO Youth Orchestra for the past 2 seasons and have taken part in the first ever NYO Inspire Orchestra which took place back in 2014. I have had many experiences of playing in chamber ensembles and orchestras, having toured parts of Germany, Italy and France, both with amateur orchestras and semi-professional ones. I have had close ties with choral societies and have performed many famous choral pieces, with the most recent being Verdi's Requiem.
