Lucie and Barry met by chance went on a date and within a short time were not only engaged but singing together. First in the band Desert Aces but then as a duo where they could really express the power of their combined vocal talents backed by just an acoustic guitar. Since the Kilkenny Roots Festival last year Honeybear has performed in the Stoneybatter Festival, Dublin; The International Bob Dylan Tribute Show, The Grand Social, Dublin; The Oasis Coberg Canada; Bose Club, Berlin, Germany; Room 2017, Dublin; L Mulligan Grocer Stoneybatter; and The Fiddlers Elbow Rome.
