Based in London, the Haru String Quartet is a versatile ensemble of four highly experienced string players.
Founded in Summer 2013, the Haru Quartet quickly established a reputation for their vibrant, lively and enthusiastic approach to chamber music. Winners of the prestigious John Barbirolli Quartet Prize, the quartet then went on to win the Cavatina Preliminary at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in March 2014, performing Beethoven String quartet opus 18. No.2. The quartet has received extensive training from world-class professors, and has been privileged enough to have taken part in masterclasses with established professional string quartets, such as the Wihan Quartet and the Carducci Quartet. The quartet is looking forward to projects that lie ahead, including a planned tour to Korea .
