Haley Wong is a 16 year old harpist with a great passion for the harp. She received her LTCL qualification (equivalent to a undergraduate graduation recital) at the age of 11, and her FTCL qualification (equivalent to a graduate graduation recital ) at age 15. Haley received the 2nd runner up in the 2021 Camac Harp Competition (U30), 1st runner up in the 2022 Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod (U19), the Helen Goodsworth Memorial Award, the 35yrs and under Orchestral Instrument Award and many more. Aside from her passion for performing, Haley has also shown interest in teaching the harp.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The wide variety of pieces, and musicality.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Churches, Concert halls in Japan, Korea, Italy and most recently the Sheldonian Theatre.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Henriette Renie has always been a huge inspiration to me. Not only are her pieces beautifully written, her teaching techniques and her playing are also extremely fascinating.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

February 2022, I was invited to perform at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will try my best to be flexible. However, it would be impossible to change times to weekdays if they are not during holidays or half term.

How much time do you need to set up?

Unpacking the harp, tuning and warming up will take around 1 hour.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

There is a separate fee of £150 for harp transport.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

A carpet will be required if stage surface is not smooth.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes absolutely.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

There is an additional fee of £10 for any specific pieces I would need to learn.
