Originally from South Korea, Hockers is an acoustic singer- songwriter and guitarist, and has been described as having an eclectic style that blends soul, jazz, pop and soft rock with a powerful and emotive voice. During his 10 year career as the front man of a rock band in Korea, Hockers played in a variety of high profile festivals and released an album. Now an acoustic act, Hockers still works in a broad range of musical styles, with echoes of his formative rock career but now inspired by western classics such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson and Nina Simone.
