Giorgos Pafitis

Giorgos is a young and talented guitarist performing in London in the last five years. Recent activities include an LP release entitled ‘Coming Up’, showcasing five of his most recent compositions. The music was recorded in April 2015 and involved various young talents from London’s music scene. New collaborations include a world music theme duet with French violinist Diane Aidenbaum and an all-round virtuoso ensemble with violinist Laci Olah. The groups made appearances in Paris and London respectively, in autumn this year. Giorgos is also leading his organ trio and performs regularly in the city since 2013. The group consists of two formidable players: James Buckham on the hammond organ and David Dyson on drums. The band has recorded original tracks last year introducing fresh ideas through their compositions. Since arriving in the U.K. in 2010, Giorgos performed in some of the most popular and prestigious venues and festivities including the House of Lords at the British Parliament in 2011. Continuing his musical journey in Europe, Giorgos currently works on new composition material and live performances scheduled for the 2015-2016 year.
