Germán Prieto was born in Granada (Spain), where he began his Music Career at age of 5. He finished the High Degree of Music in Piano, and obtained a Pedagogy Diploma (C.A.P.) in 2005.
First Prize at II Piano Competition in Orihuela (Alicante) on April 2005.
First Prize at Piano Competition "Eduardo del Pueyo" in Granada on July 2005.
Special Prize by the Popular University of Albacete on the XXXII Edition of "Ciuadad de Albacete" Piano Competition on November 2012.
Among his perfomances, he has played along different places in Spain (Granada, Jaén, Almería, Huelva, Antequera, Málaga, La Línea de la Concepción, Murcia, Madrid...) and abroad in Brussels and Ghent (Belgium), getting great experiences and critics by the public.
He often plays for charity in many events and recitals, especially those who are destined to the defense of social and cultural values, and has an intense work in Chamber Music with different groups, playing with them among other events, in Verona (Italy) at "Soirées Musicales" Salieri-Zinetti, San Telmo Palace (Sevilla) under Barenboim-Said Foundation, "Fall Cycle" of Sociedad Musical Linense "Félix Enríquez", Coda Jimena Association and Juventudes Musicales of Granada.
Germán Prieto usually involved in many Musical Stages looking for his teaching techniques and perfomance skills. He received lessons from pianists like Xenia Knorre, Anna Jastrzebska-Quinn, Andrey Reznik, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Pep Lassman, Vitaly Samoshko, Piero Rattalino, Franco Scala, Leonid Margarius, Marie Françoise Bucquet, Ana Guijarro and Javier Perianes among others.
In teaching, he has also large experience as Piano Teacher in many different cities and Conservatories (Granada, Málaga, La Línea de la Concepción, Antequera).
Nowadays, he teaches at the High Conservatory of Music "Andrés de Vandelvira" from Jaén as Accompanist from Violin and Cello specialties.
