I was taught by my father when I was 4 years of age who was a professional solo player and Pipe-Major of the Edinburgh City Police Pipe Band at that time.I progressed through the solo competition scene and won several trophies and awards on the way. I was also in pipe bands for many years notably The Harrods Pipe Band where we played at many functions around the world
