George began his studies under Frances Messenger AGSM, he took a shine to the violin and within 6 months had completed his first performance exam achieving distinction. Recently finishing his studies with Sally Robinson (leader of the National Festival Orchestra), he will soon begin lessons with conservatoire professors in preperation for audition for the Royal Colleges, Academy and Guildhall. As well as teaching young players George also freelances with orchestras in need of players, and in September 2016 led an orchestra in a production of West Side Story in Kent, as well as performing violin in a production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream. George's past appointments include holding a chair in the Suffolk Youth Orchestra and touring Germany with them, Trianon Symphony Orchestra, other orchestras around the south east. George currently plays with the Maidstone Symphony Orchestra.
