What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try to work as flexibly as possible with as much notice as possible. Just let me know. All about transparent and straight forward communication.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

No problem at all. If you require a deejay I am well connected in the music world so can add this to your requirements.

How much time do you need to set up?

It depends on the location, how accessible it is, how many musicians there are, whether there is a sound man and the types of instruments they play. We like to give it a 2 hour window to set up to allow for delays logistical issues and make sure it runs really smoothly.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course and please do suggest any that you like so we can prepare them in advance.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

If you require PA we can arrange this. However we do prefer for clients to arrange this themselves. For low key/acoustic sets we provide our own amps.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes of course with as much notice as possible!

A superb singer I have admired over many years since her early days in folk & country influenced bands. She really came into her own with her current kitsch, jazz tinged sound with the band Pelican Assembly that displays a unique and soulful quality delivering both a sensual mood and power when it is required.

Gabby is a sensational, versatile musician and an amazing live performer! Gabby sang complex, varying 50’s / rockabilly style backing vocals where we recorded an entire album in a day. It took a huge amount of spontaneous talent and creativity! Gabby wrote vocal parts which hugely enhanced our album ‘Can’t Get Arrested!’ - Which thanks Gabby, is not only the best sounding records I’ve made.. but one of the best albums I’ve ever heard! Hire Gabby!
