Gabriel Seng

Gabriel started learning the piano at the age of 5, and have ever since loved playing it. Having undergone classical training, Gabriel has a strong technical foundation on the piano before attempting more contemporary styles. During high school, Gabriel joined his school choir as a pianist. It was then he met Mr Ng Ren Jie, a choir teacher with a large network of connections. Impressed by his abilities, Mr Ng Ren Jie introduced Gabriel to the more advanced choir groups under him at that time. Gabriel then began his exposure to contemporary music, in which he gained experience through various concerts and Christmas caroling. Some songs that Gabriel performed in concerts with a choir are oldies like "Somewhere over the rainbow", "Singin' in the rain" and pop music like "Electricity" and "Man in the mirror". Gabriel also went on Christmas caroling with the choir group as a pianist during Christmas seasons. On the other hand, Gabriel continues his classical music education and joins the Selangor Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. He once played in a concert as a soloist in a string ensemble, performing "Haydn Piano Concerto No. 2". Gabriel is currently an undergraduate at Cass Business School, and he actively plays the piano for fun in his free time. Currently does piano covers for contemporary songs, mainly K-pop with artistes like DEAN, DPR etc.
