I'm Christina, also known as FARE. I'm a Bristol based musician, with a Diploma in Music Performance & a Degree in Music, and have been performing since 2016. I've released a handful of Albums/EP's since then, and have also gigged around the UK in small independent music venues and at festivals - Including Glastonbury, The Great Escape & I was also lucky enough to support Ben Howard for three dates in the NL. These are all things I am still currently doing alongside my part time work as a vocal coach - performing around Bristol and working on new music to release in 2022. However, I have also gained some experience as an event performer over the last couple of years, especially during the summer - including a beach wedding in Cornwall as the reception/meal music, and a 60th anniversary in an orchard. It was due to events like these, that I realised my music could also have a place in special events - including intimate Birthdays, Weddings etc. and would love to enhance the ambience for guests! I'm often encouraged to play a mixture of originals and covers - although I'm always more than happy to do a set of full covers as I really enjoy reworking songs into my own style. My go to for this previously has been mostly 70s/80s hits in my folk/ambient style, with some more recent pop covers and well known ballads! For example: This must Be The Place by Talking Heads, Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper, As It Was by Harry Styles & Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley. My originals and covers fall into a folk style that is very soft & gentle, and I tend to play ambient electric guitar to accompany my vocals live (sometimes looped). However saying this, I am also very happy to play acoustically. I'm really open to playing at any event - including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate & business events and food festivals. During weddings, I'm happy to offer my services during the ceremony and/or reception, during the wedding breakfast etc. If this sounds like the sort of music accompaniment you've been looking for, or if you have any further questions - please do get in touch!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always work to be as flexible as possible with dates/timings, so please do let me know if you need to check this with me - I want to day to go as smoothly as possible!

How much time do you need to set up?

30minutes to an hour depending on set up/venue etc. I will always aim to get to your venue with plenty of time in advance!I

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course! Let me know if you have a preference on songs from my set list & whether you'd like covers only, or covers and originals.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I will always bring along a guitar amp, microphone, mic stand & cables etc. - however I do ask for you to check with you venue to see if they have PA Equipment and a Mixing Desk. If not, I can provide these for an extra £25!
