Cardiff

Cheshire born Esther now lives and studies in Cardiff, and loves the thriving music scene it has to offer. After graduating from her Bachelor's Degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, under teachers such as Sarah Newbold and Matthew Featherstone, she is now embarking on a specialised Master's degree in Orchestral Performance. At age 17 she achieved a Distinction in her ATCL performance Diploma, in 2018 completed her DipABRSM Teaching Diploma, and this year received RWCMD's Daniel Emlyn Davies Award. Esther has a wide array of both orchestral and chamber playing experience, and loves both as equally. As an orchestral musician she is a member of the prestigious Young Musician's Symphony Orchestra in London, as well as having played alongside the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in rehearsals and a recording session, and performing for Royalty. In chamber music settings she has also enjoyed playing in outreach sessions in primary schools, as well as performing in London for the Welsh Government's St David's Day celebrations. Esther really enjoys collaborating with all sorts of musicians, and very much enjoys every part of her musical journey.
