I have been playing the Cello for 14 years and have experience performing solo, in a quartet and in an orchestra. I studied for 6 years at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music where I also learned how to compose. I began writing songs at around the age of 13, when I taught myself to play guitar. My song 'another week' was featured twice on BBC Radio Sheffield Introducing. I am offering my services as a performer, session musician and composer.

Emily recorded Cello parts for my upcoming solo album project with a mix of folk, pop and ambient arrangements. Her ability to understand and communicate musical language to musicians with both classical and alternative backgrounds, has helped the project greatly. Capable of learning pre-written parts quickly and has a natural ability in creating beautiful chord progressions, melodies and harmonies during sessions. Reliable, friendly and easy to work with, any recording project will be benefited from her session work!
