Born into the cultural melting pot of Hackney, East London and brought up listening to his father’s love of soul music, it was soon very clear that El’tee was about to start his self-awakening journey into the music industry at a young age. With Dad, Tony T being a member of the successful 90’s group ‘Benz’, music and singing ran through his blood and he was introduced to professional recording at just 13.
Fast forward 7 years and with El’tee having harnessed, cultivated and honed his vocal skills we introduce to you an artist that is incomparable, undeniable and totally unique.
Following his highly anticipated debut London show at Seb Collective’s ‘Pop Revue’ on the 1st November 2016 (itself a former showcase arena for the likes of Lianne La Havas, FKA Twigs, Katy B, Jessie J, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran), El’tee is gearing up to release his debut E.P “No.1 Contender” in early 2017.
Comprising of three self-penned tracks, ‘Zoning’, ‘Search & Seek’ and ‘Fleek’, “No.1 Contender” really shows off El’tee’s talents which are inspired by the likes of Chris Brown, Stormzy, Frank Ocean and Krept & Konan! Lyrically, El'tee draws on personal life experiences which include good and happy times with friends, coupled with stories of his musical journey and growing up as a young person in modern society.
