Eddie joined Bedfordshire Youth Orchestra where he was lucky enough to be coached by Christopher Larkin and Brendan Thomas. In 2008 he was a member of the World Youth Orchestra and toured Italy and Slovenia and was also the principal horn of the CBSO Youth Orchestra & Academy. After completing his undergraduate degree at the Royal Academy of Music, Eddie was offered a scholarship to attend the Royal College of Music where he has recently completed his masters degree. His studies were funded with generous support from the MBF and Countess of Munster Trust. He has been fortunate enough to perform with singer-songwriter Imogen Heap; perform alongside Joe McElderry and Diversity for the Queen at Buckingham Palace; and perform at the BBC Proms under John Adams with the RAM/Juilliard Orchestra in a concert broadcast on BBC Radio 3. He recently performed Mahler's 6th Symphony as principal horn with the Birmingham Festival Orchestra under Jamie Phillips and has also performed with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London and througout the UK. Away from the concert hall, Eddie also performs with a number of jazz ensembles; including NYJO and the Engines Orchestra, the latter having just released their debut album 'Lifecycles'. He has also performed alongside electronic/ambient musican Loscil as part of the 'Possibly Colliding' event at the Barbican.
