Duo Miroir began in 2018 as a way for the two violinist to broaden their musical horizons. Blair and Adela met at the Royal Northern College of Music where they were both studying violin performance. As they began playing at weddings, the duo found real pleasure in enhancing people’s special occasions. They provide a personalised experience, working alongside clients to curate the perfect musical atmosphere for their event. Over the last years they have gained experience playing at a large variety of events, ranging from weddings to corporate events, church services and dinner parties.

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

We always play as a duo, but in the unlikely event one of us is unavailable for a date, we have a great number of trusted musician colleagues to call on.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We pride ourselves on being as flexible as possible to help ensure things run smoothly - please let us know as soon as possible if timings need to change and we'll do our best to accommodate any alterations.

How much time do you need to set up?

We arrive and set up at least 20 minutes before our performance so we have time to meet with you, or any events co-ordinators/ managers.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely! Similarly, we are more than happy to curate a setlist together, combining your requests with other pieces that work well, creating the atmosphere that you are looking for.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We provide everything (instruments, music stands) except for chairs.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can, but we do ask for requests to be sent over as soon as possible as we do need enough time to learn them. Ideally we would like requests to be sent to us at least two weeks prior to the event.
