Florence Petit and Elias Sibley formed their cello and guitar duo in 2013 whilst students at the Royal College of Music. They have thus far performed at various venues throughout London including; Cadogan Hall, Saint Mary Abbot’s Church, Kensington and Saint Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. They have made their French debut in summer 2014, with a performance in the Languedoc village of Junas. Passionate about outreach projects and bringing classical music to the wider community, they have a regular programme of informal and engaging performances at various hospitals and care homes throughout the London area. Recitals are Duo Dekacord’s raison d’être. They have a highly varied repertoire of original works as well as imaginative arrangements of pieces which showcase their unique and beautiful combination of instruments. The duo offer several engaging recital programs to suit disparate tastes and audiences.
