Diego Hart

Diego Rodríguez Hart Havana, Cuba 1997. Diego started his music studies at the age of 6 in the “Alejandro García Caturla” Conservatoire with the pianist and teacher Isabel Clavera. Afterwards he made 2 years of high school(music) in the “Amadeo Roldan National Conservatoire” with the pianist and teacher Karla Martinez. At the age of 16 he moved to Oporto(Portugal) to proceed with his studies in the “Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho where he graduated with the maximum qualification. In 2016 he auditioned to enter in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where he was accepted and is currently doing his second year of Bachelor of Music Performance in the class of the pianist, conductor and professor Norman Beedie. He has participated in masterclasses of very important pianist, such as Aaron Shorr (Head of the keyboard department of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), Sinae Lee, Bingbing Li, Petras Geniusas, Frank Fernandez(very renounced Cuban pianist), Giuliano Mazzocante, Paulo Oliveira and Victor Rodríguez. He is got prices and distinctions such as: Second prize in the Alejandro Garcia Caturla Piano Competition, Cuba. (2016) Second prize in the Cidade de Fundão International Piano Competition, Portugal. (2016) First prize in the Concurso Iberico do Alto Minho, Portugal. (2016) First prize in the Elisa Pedroso Piano competition and also special prize for best performance in the Prize Ceremony Concert, Portugal. (2016) Prize of the OCE(Classical orchestra or Espinho) soloists. (2016) He also gave recitals in some of the most important Cuban and Portuguese halls, such as the Amadeo Roldan and Basilica de San Fransisco de Asís in Havana, Cuba. the Catholic University of Porto, in the National Auditorium of Espinho and in the Hall of the Coimbra Conservatoire, Portugal. In 2016 he had the opportunity to play the Saint Saëns Piano Concerto with the Classical Orchestra of Espinho and Maestro Pedro Neves. He also participated in Two editions of “Teclistas para Elena Sá Costa” in Porto(Portugal) in the years 2015 and 2017.
