Organist and piano accompanist based near Edinburgh. All styles of music from classical to pop

David Surtees is a second year student on the Bachelor of Music degree at Edinburgh Napier University, studying organ with Michael Harris and harpsichord privately with Jan Waterfield. His wide-ranging interests cover the last thousand years of musical history, but he is particularly passionate about baroque and contemporary music. Believing that music should primarily be a collaborative activity, he is a keen chamber musician, either as a piano accompanist or continuo player. David is also an experienced music typesetter, and has produced new editions of works for choirs and orchestras across Scotland, including Stirling University Choir and the Afton Ensemble.
