VICE is a new band based in Central London, bringing an exciting modern sound to the London jazz scene today. Saxophonist Ben Vize, Italian-born guitarist Dani Diodato, bassist Benjamin Crane and drummer Charlie Hutchinson, all met at Trinity Laban Conseravotoire in Greenwich, where they have studied Jazz under the teachings of world-renowned tutors such as Martin Speake, Mark Lockhart, Jean Toussaint and Simon Purcell, to name a few. VICE blends traditional jazz, bebop and swing with modern-day contemporary jazz and harmony, to create an advanced, new sound to the world. Each member of the band brings a completely different style and influence, and are all currently writing new material to play. With their high energy performances, and virtuosic playing, VICE are a band not to be ignored.
