Urban Cakehouse' Dahlia Music was formed by the MacLeod sisters, Heather and Kirsty, and spans across London, Manchester and Scotland. We provide quality music for all occasions with our customer-chosen repertoire and instrumentation. We have a large pool of players and like to see ourselves as one large family! Should your specific players not be available for your event, we have a trusted group of players we call upon - all graduates from music conservatoires across the UK. We are passionate about abolishing the stereotype of classical music and tailoring live music for all your special occasions. We pride ourselves on excellence and professionalism of our players and can guarantee to make your musical experience a memorable one. Do you have different line-up options?

String Quartet (2 violins, viola & cello) String Trio (2 violins & cello) String Duo (violin & cello)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

This can happen quite frequently! Please let us know as soon as possible for us to make the necessary adjustments to our players schedule.

How much time do you need to set up?

We always arrive 45 minutes before we are due to start playing.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?


Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. All we require from yourselves or the venue is four armless chairs.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes. We have a small extra charge for any pieces that are not already on our repertoire lists.
