Conor Carthy

My name is Conor and I am an aspiring Jazz Guitarist from Dublin. I have my classical grades up to grade eight and am an advanced sigh reader. I previously worked for Windmill Lane studios and have recorded on live TV for RTE in 2013 as Part of a special rehabilitation Easter sunday programme for Life Line. I study Commercial Modern Music In BIMM Dublin and work closely with Cathy Davey,Cian Boylan and Jimmy smyth. I play in various groups around Dublin for experience and teach part time on a one to one basis. I volunteer at the IAYO and help to organise events around Dublin and in my college. I can transcribe and transpose and would be comfortable playing any styles.
