Founded in 2015, Chiqas is a unique female collective that specialise in all genres of music, be it jazz, pop, classical; whatever your event requires! Consisting of 8 string players, a drummer and singer, Chiqas have unique arrangements of popular music, played as you've never heard it before. Comprised of 10 professional musicians, all the girls are classically trained and have copious amounts of performance experience in all music genres. It is the versatility which Chiqas hold that makes them a group like no other. There is no need to book two separate ensembles for your wedding service and then reception, Chiqas can do it all! They are available for any type of function for full 10 piece band, reduced 6 piece band, duos, trios, quartets, or whatever your heart desires.
