Carles has always been a music lover. Since childhood he has been nourished by his father's musical wisdom, absorbing musical styles and concepts of all kinds.
When Carles was seventeen, he began to be curious about the rhythm section and began to play drums with some friends and Pablo on bass that was just beginning too.
But immediately he realized that his passion was melody, expressing his hidden feelings and seeing Dani (one of the friends) playing the guitar, his interest changed and with great effort he started with the guitar and singing.
In a short time he began to have a small institute project that led him to have a full cover band. From there he went on to play in a band with more quality in which he played Reggae and Rocksteady.
But Carles always wanted to write songs. Playing versions always bored him, so along with Pablo on bass and Aitor on drums, they started a project that will always remain valid in his heart: Happy Coliflowers.
This band was for Carles and Pablo a turning point. A path in which you can explore and exploit your most crazy youth, downloading all your energy and passion with electrifying and catchy themes and endless improvisations that could move you to the very 70's.
Carles has always been a very ambitious person and never had enough living in a town where he knew he could never be more than he already was, so in a rush of maturity / immaturity, he decided to go to London in search of improving and playing with the best musicians in the world. There he had two main projects, The Planes and Felix and Carles. With which he learned different styles and ways of playing music.
After two years Carles decided that he needed a change, to assimilate what he had learned and decided to go live in Liverpool to continue learning from the best musicians and after some time searching for a current to follow, he was able to combine all his experience in his own subjects and start the current project, The Lufos which is a band where Carles plays his newest and most intrinsic songs.
