London based Horn player, very experienced orchestral and chamber musician.
Cameron is has played with numerous youth and amateur orchestras as well as selected professional ensembles and has performed at several major venues throughout the UK including the Royal Albert Hall at the BBC Proms and Symphony Hall, Birmingham. In the summer of 2017 he was made principal horn of the Amadeus Orchestra for music students and young professionals as their youngest member. The previous year he also won a place on the prestigious LSO Brass Academy, directed by the brass section principals of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Cameron also enjoys playing a variety of chamber music from Brahms' Horn Trio to contemporary works by composers such as Ligeti and Martin Butler. As
a chamber musician he has performed at the RAH Elgar Room and twice at the Wigmore Hall as well as private events at Fortnum & Mason and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Previously, studied with Sue Dent and Beth Randell for 4 years at the Purcell School of Music where he held a scholarship and 7 years at the RCM Junior Department where he won the Anthony Gray Horn Prize in his final year. After a successful run of university applications and auditions to the London conservatoires resulting in many scholarships, Cameron began his first year reading Music & German at King's College London in September 2017.
