About Brass Tracks

Brass quintet
Scotland's most versatile brass quintet - promoting the best of brass chamber music - old and new to audiences of all ages across the UK.

Since 2013, Brass Tracks have entertained audiences across Scotland in concert halls, cathedrals, cinemas, theatres – even shopping centres - Blowing the cobwebs from Italian Renaissance, Russian Romanticism and diversifying into hits from the The Great American Songbook and showcasing new interpretations of popular Scottish folk-songs. Brass Tracks offer a kaleidoscopic musical brass journey spanning over the last 500 years – highlighting the wealth of varying musical experience of each individual persona. Brass Tracks are also equally comfortable delivering accompaniment to carols, fanfaring royality, adding weight to the latest rock album, or performing for BBC 1 period dramas.
