They studied either at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow (now the Royal Scottish Conservatoire), or the Guildhall School of Music in London. For Jane, Wilson and Michael, violins and viola, this was followed by long and varied professional careers including playing in the BBC SSO, Scottish Opera, and (insert others). I just wanted to thank you and others for a splendid concert last evening in Broughton House. The wonderful blend of well-known tunes with less-familiar ones worked extremely well making for a most enjoyable concert. The smiles on the faces of those attending was testimony to how much they all enjoyed the event, especially the visitors who had just chanced on the opportunity to attend
