Miss Annie is a vintage style vocalist specialising in music from the 1930s to 1950s including Jazz, Swing, Wartime & Rhythm & Blues
We were delighted with Miss Annie at our recent Roaring Twenties Summer Ball. A highly professional performer with a lovely voice, she was beautifully dressed in keeping with the 1920s theme and her thoughtfully chosen repertoire of songs was perfect for the event. We would certainly consider booking her again.
Originally from a musical theatre background, Miss Annie started singing professionally in 2008. She spent six years as a resident vocalist at a local Cabaret Restaurant and also joined Bournemouth based swing band, The Regular Joes in 2009 as female lead vocalist. Miss Annie also runs and fronts the six piece 1950s R&B band, Miss Annie & The Midnight Shift. She performs as a soloist with backing tracks and specialises in music from the 1930s to 1950s. She is a regular in Normandy and sings to the Veterans each year fir the D Day anniversary. She also performs each year at The Goodwood Revival on her own at the Goodwood Hotel and also with The Regular Joes at the main event. Miss Annie was also fortunate enough to have performed at Buckingham Palace with the Regular Joes for the Queens Coronation Festival. She has had a great love of the 1940s and 50s since she was a child, loving both the music & fashion of these eras. She performs in Period style clothing and has a Vintage style microphone.
You are now following Miss Annie!
Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it.
