Andrei read Music at Peterhouse, Cambridge between 2010 and 2014, while holding the Organ Scholarship at Peterhouse. As well as regularly accompanying services, the Organ Scholarship at Peterhouse is perhaps unique in that there is no professional Director of Music, meaning that all such responsibilities fall to the Senior Organ Scholar. As a result, Andrei has had rich experiences organising, conducting and playing services across the continent, including Notre Dame Paris, Chartres Cathedral, Christchurch Dublin, Westminster Abbey and Canterbury Cathedral, to name a few.
Andrei's area of expertise lies in Russian choral music, which stems from his fluency in the language and his chosen dissertations into Rachmaninoff's choral music. Andrei has regularly incorporated Russian music into the liturgy at Peterhouse, much to the delight of the Fellowship and Chapel community.
Andrei now works full-time as a Management Consultant in London, however is ever eager to continue playing where possible.
