Amy Le Rossignol

Amy is a composer-lyricist, pianist and accompanist based in North London. She studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on the MA course in Writing Musicals. She composes in many different styles, and is particularly drawn towards jazz, soul, funk and Romanticism. She writes stand-alone songs and instrumental pieces for big bands and jazz ensembles, as well full-scale musicals. She has had works performed by the Delta Saxophone Quartet and trumpeter Byron Wallen. She co-wrote 'Much Ado About Hero' with Lexi Clare, which played at TheatreN16 in October 2017 as part of the Maiden Speech Festival, and at Leicester Square Theatre later that year. She co-wrote the music for and musically directed the new musical 'AsperGirl', performed at Tristan Bates Theatre in November 2019, and has also had work showcased at Above The Arts Cabaret Club and the Pleasance Islington. She performs her own compositions and a variety of other music as an accompanist at Open Mic nights around London.
