About Alice

Alice plays Oboe and Cor Anglais with CUMS SO and is a Choral Exhibitioner with King's Voices

Alice started her musical career at Yorkshire Young Musicians in Leeds, before attending St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh for sixth form, where she learnt under Joe Houghton, former principal for Scottish Opera and one-time Bass Choral Scholar at King's himself. In her first year, Alice played for the CUMS Symphony orchestra, the New Music Ensemble and her college orchestra. She is currently running the Lunchtime Concert Series in King's College Chapel.
