I am a very keen chamber musician, having played in a violin and viola duet and in string quartets for three years before setting up the Paramount Quartet in September 2016, as well as a piano trio at the RNCM.
Through chamber music I have covered various genres of music, often classical (of all eras) and also frequently pop arrangements!
As well as chamber music, I really enjoy playing as an orchestral musician, from pit bands, to chamber orchestras and symphony orchestras. I have been playing as an orchestral musician since 2008 and love that there is no limit to the experience gained from doing so.
Of course, I also really like playing solo recitals, a chance to express my own individuality as a musician.
I have very much enjoyed teaching young children over the past few years too, allowing me to look at music from another new perspective!
I'm keen to take on opportunities as a musician of any calibre, familiar or otherwise! I prepare thoroughly for everything I'm involved in, to ensure I enjoy it and learn a lot, as well as to deliver music of a high class.
