Alchemy Beat Collective is an eclectic group of professional performers and musicians who have come together to create a unique entertainment experience. By using clever mashups that blend live musicians with our own DJ, we have fused tunes from across the decades and genres (including Disco, Jazz, Latin, Blues and Pop) to produce a vibrant and distinctive sound. This mix of old and new is also reflected in the band's Steampunk-influenced look. And it doesn't stop there… While our music forms the centrepiece of our shows, we can also incorporate other live acts such as circus, burlesque, drag and comedy performers to create an entertainment experience you won't forget. To help us do this, we have collaborated with the brilliant The Electric Cabaret Company who have access to a huge range of incredible performers designed to wow your audience. Lady Beau is the driving force behind Alchemy Beat and brought the band together with Spider. She trained at drama school, is a seasoned compere, show producer and vocalist who knows how to work a crowd! She’s worked in many iconic venues including Highclere Castle and KoKo’s London. Clients include Arctic Monkeys, Sir Ian McKellen and Joan Collins. During a long-standing residency at London's Bunga Bunga, Lady Beau worked alongside DJ Spider, which was the catalyst for them creating Alchemy Beat Collective. Spider is a renowned DJ and mashup producer. His experience covers decades working in hundreds of large and small venues, and his career has seen him DJ for Royalty and a myriad of celebrities, as well as being a music programmer for Music Box Europe. It was also at Bunga Bunga that they also met the band's musical director and drummer, Joe Malone. Joe brings a huge breadth of professional experience to the band having worked as a musical director in London's West End, as well as on Broadway and in Las Vegas in the US. His show credits include The Producers, We Will Rock You and The Rat Pack is Back, as well as Chaka Kahn.

The band performed for my 50th birthday party and they were just fabulous. My guests loved the the mashups which were brilliant to dance to. I also loved the cheeky interaction from the host Lady Beau. They really got the parted started and were very professional. They also had great, fun costumes. Thoroughly recommended!

The Alchemy Beat created such a fun atmosphere from the minute they started playing. The mashups were great, clever and unique. They also did some great covers too. The show was interactive, which I loved. The whole room ending up dancing the night away. Such a fun evening, thanks for doing a great job.
