Adel Sahnoun

Adel Sahnoun's music versatility has led him to perform at London's top venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Saint Martin in the Fields, Handel House Museum & the O2 Academy. As a student, Adel was a prize winner to several competitions and Awards, including June Emerson Wind Music Launchpad Prize; Croydon Concerto Competition; EMI Music Foundation Instrumental Award, and a finalist in the Harold Clarke Woodwind Competition. Adel has also recorded for Channel 4, BBC Persian and broadcasted for the BBC Radio 3 & BBC Radio 4. Between 2010 & 2013, Adel has held the position of solo flute with the Co-OperaCo and in 2012 he was appointed the solo flute of Kidenza Orchestra. As an ensemble player, Adel is the co-founder of Prima Vista with his partner Petra Hajduchova; The Amorosi Duo with Federica Mossone, & The Alchemy Ensemble with Vasilis Stamatis and Pavlos Kapralos. As a soloist, Adel has toured Europe, Asia & Africa performing in prestigious festivals such as Harbin Summer Music Festival in China. Adel has been invited to give a flute masterclass at Trinity Conservatoire of Music & Dance and Morley College. He performed in masterclasses of Patrick Gallois, Jacques Zoon, Susan Milan, Paul Edmund Davies, Wissam Boustany, Dan Laurin, and Pamela Thorby. Adel graduated with honours from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance where he studied the modern flute with Anna Noakes, piccolo with Alain Baker & Baroque flute with Dr Stephen Preston.
